God's Name Must Not Be Mentioned In A Public School
Senior Anthony Sciubba spoke the forbidden word in his biographical
sketch that would be printed in the Highly High School yearbook (in
Phoenix, AZ). No, no, he did not use a racial or gender slur,
nor did he use profanity or take God's name in vain. He
wrote, "All these great things have happened to me, but it's all from
God..." He did not disparage any other student's religion. He
did not preach a sermon. But still his references to God were
deleted. In a newspaper interview, he said could not
understand why this was done.
Poor fellow, he has yet to figure out that the God of the Christians
has been outlawed from America's public schools. If he were Muslim, it
is likely an exception would have been made. Alas, such is
life under the politically correct agenda of the American Civil
Liberties Union. They win through intimidation.
But when catastrophe strikes, the same folks will either be calling on
God for relief or blaming Him for allowing bad things to happen to
them. They will be reaching for the assistance Christians
offer them.
We who confess Christ must never conform to their demands, instead we
must resist their wicked schemes.
Sincerely,
