Isn't it Interesting?

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is determined that every incoming freshman must read parts of the Koran and discuss it. Federal District Judge Carleton Tilley upheld the university's program and insisted that "This simply is not a religious exercise or activity." The university offices were delighted with his ruling said Chancellor James Moeser.

This event demonstrates shows just how partial are the liberal elitists in the world of academia, the media and the judiciary. If a similar school had a mandatory course of reading in the Bible and a discussion thereof, the screams of protest would be heard from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Every champion of separation of church and state and every civil-libertarian group would be lined up to file their suites in behalf of those whose sensitivities had been offended by the crass thoughtlessness of the school. But in this case they are mute. Why?

The fact is: all of the angry demands for separation of church and state are veiled attacks against Christianity by those who hate and despise that religion. They can tolerate any kind of religion in public places, in tax-funded places except Christianity… especially the evangelical expression of that faith.

No longer are we a democracy where the will of the majority prevails. Rather we are a land where the majority is under constant siege and attack by determined activist who wish to force their thinking and practices on all.
